Global Changes

I feel that there will be some major changes over the next 50 year. I don't think we'll have flying cars or tele porters like in the Jetsons, but we might have something of that kind. I think that our political system will be subject to change the most. Eventually some president will have too much power and it's not going to end good. I already know global warming isn't real so i'm not scared about that.

My Trip to Florida

My story is about me and my family traveling to Florida and having a not so happy ending. I feel this project was a good way to reflect on past memories whether they be good or bad. Although i have never forgotten the events that occurred during this experience, this gave me a good chance to look back and catch up on the things that happened.

Here is my rubric !

My Trip to Florida

This story is about me and my brother in Florida. For the most part, it was fun. Except for the day that my brother took my favorite Wolverine action figure and threw it onto a ledge in our beach house. I thought i had lost him forever, which i have, but next year when i came back i was surprised when i saw him still on the ledge. I knew i could never get him back, but it was good to know that he is still there.

Family Story

When i was little me and my family would go to Florida every other year. We would have a time share in Jupiter right by the beach. In our house there was shutters that opened from upstairs overlooking the living room and kitchen. The very first time that we stayed in that house, my brother purposely dropped my favorite Wolverine action figure on a ledge below. It is too low to reach from upstairs, and too high to get too from downstairs, so we left it there. Year after year of staying at that time share my Wolverine action figure remains there. Even this summer when we went there it was still there. 10 years it's been there, and i hope it will continue to stay there.

Today In English Class.....

We got our test back that we took on Friday. Most of the class did pretty good. Me on the other hand, did not do so good. It's funny because it was on the most simple topic I'll probably have all year. It was about nouns, pronouns and all the other grammar words. The only question i really knew was who's Mrs .Kaplan's favorite Yankee player (Nick Swisher). I guess that's what i get for not studying.

Final Copy of Essay

Lennie Giordano Final Draft

Blogging is beneficial to education. It benefits education by bringing schools into the 21st century. It is helpful to schools because it saves paper and is   easy to keep track of. Using Blogging in schools can help teachers and students as well. Blogging in schools helps them by letting the students expand their method of learning from just writing on paper, to posting blogs online.

Blogs benefit education by helping to bring schools into the 21st century. Lets face it, students don't like writing and reading from textbooks. But if teachers use blogging in their lessons, it can not only bring joy to the students but can also save money in this tough economy. Computers are the new pen and paper. Instead of reading from a 700 page text book, students could use today's technology and see how easy and fun blogging can be.

Blogging is helpful to to schools because it is easy for teachers to keep track of, and saves paper. Whether your typing an essay or writing a paragraph, blogging beats them all. Keeping track of student’s papers is a nightmare for teachers. If a student writes at least 5 essays per year, and a teacher has 30 students, thats already 150 essays a    teacher has to keep track of. With the paper shortage our school is going through, we can use some more blogging.

Blogging in schools helps them because it lets the students expand their method of learning from just writing on paper, to posting blogs online. When i was in school during my early years all i knew was pen and paper. Up until the 5th grade, i never really knew how to operate a computer. But kids in this day and age, kids are learning how to blog by the time they're in the 3rd grade. So now kids like me have more of a variety of sources to do school work.

Blogging is very beneficial to education. It helps schools go from writing and writing, and writing to going online and learn 21st century technology. It also saves paper, and helps out teachers by giving them less to keep track of. Now many students have more than one way to learn proactively and still keep up with today's technology. Blogging is a really a great way for everyone, students, adults, anybody that likes keeping up with technology and today's news.
